4. It is 1880, in the Opera House in Paris. Everyone is talking about the Phantom of Opera. The ghost lives somewhere under the Opera House. The Phantom is a man in black clothes. He has no nose. He has yellow face, he has black holes for eyes. Everybody is afraid of the phantom. He caused a strange one after another event to get the love of a singer who is Christine.

5. In this book, the phantom was a famous builder , but I heard that the phantom was a man who became orphan due to a fire of the Opera House in the story that I read in my childhood. And the phantom is naturally ugly in this book, but I heard that the phantom got burnt due to the fire.

His name is Joseph Merrick. His face was naturally ugly.

It is difficult to walk for him.
One day, Dr Frederick who is surgeon was interested to him.
And he takes care of Merrick in his hospital’s attic.
In first, he was frightened to the person, but he gradually opened the mind during relations with a stage actress.
So he came to start being related with others.

5. I was surprised because this story was a true story.
This book says that Merrick wasn’t any illness, but today, the fact that he was a patient of Neurofibromatosis type 1.
I want to see the movie based on this story.

Peterson takes it to Homes. It was clarified that it was stolen goods.
Holmes begin to look for the criminal.
The fact that James Ryder had the goose swallow it was clarified.
The criminal was Ryder.

5. It is interesting to be clarified of a variety of person relations because of one goose,however,I easily expected the end of the talk.
Holmes do the information gathering, but he doesn't reason so much in this story.
